After buying an insurance product on the Volotea website, you will automatically receive a purchase confirmation email containing your insurance certificate. If you have not received it, please check your spam folder, as sometimes it can end up there.

If you still cannot find the insurance certificate, please contact us at contact@hikoala.co, and we will be happy to resend it to you as soon as possible.
Yes, you can cancel your policy up to 14 days after your purchase and receive a full refund of the insurance premium (i.e. price paid), subject to the following conditions:
- You purchased your policy more than 28 days before the Scheduled Departure Time, and
- No Compensation has been claimed or is pending
If you have booked your trip less than 28 days before the Scheduled Departure Time, you cannot cancel your insurance protection.
How to cancel your insurance:
- Send us an email at contact@hikoala.co stating that you wish to cancel your protection plan and be refunded
- You will be refunded of the insurance premium within 10 working days
Note: Canceling your insurance protection will not affect the validity of your booking or the underlying tickets for your journey.
Changing your booking details must be done directly with Volotea. You can find more details here: https://www.volotea.com/en/your-booking/change-flights/
If you change your booking details, you must inform Koala by email at contact@hikoala.co
Koala will transfer your coverage to the new booking details accordingly, and you will receive an updated insurance certificate. Only modifications before the Scheduled Departure Time will be accepted.
Yes, there is no restrictions for you when purchasing our insurance products.
However, you must check that you are not already covered for similar reasons by other insurance products.
Only a Member named on the Insurance Certificate can receive the compensation from the cover.
If you wish to receive the money on a bank account hold by someone else, you need to write us to contact@hikoala.co using your email address used for the booking, send your ID and the recipient ID.
